Dr. Bernard Cohen at Tucson Animal Hospital

Dr. Bernard Cohen

Dr. Cohen grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. In 1971, he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Veterinary Science from the Miami University in Ohio. In 1976, he obtained his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois. Dr. Cohen joined Catalina Pet Hospital in 1990. His special interest in veterinary medicine is feline medicine. He enjoys scuba diving, hiking, camping, birding, sports, and movies.

Dr. Randall J. Eberhard at Tucson Animal Hospital

Dr. Randall J. Eberhard

Dr. Eberhard grew up in Joliet, Illinois (Northern Illinois near Chicago). In 1973, he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Illinois State University. In 1976, he obtained his Master’s Degree in Pharmacology from the University of Arizona. In 1980, he received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois. Dr. Eberhard joined Catalina Pet Hospital in 1980. His primary interest is to provide the best for pets and their owners. He enjoys exercising, traveling and gardening. In addition, he was the moderator of the show “Pet Talk”, the voice of veterinary medicine in Tucson on KNST radio for 21 years.

Dr. Amanda Maus

Dr. Maus grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. In 2002, she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 2006, she obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University. Soon after, she joined Catalina Pet Hospital and developed a special interest in pain management. When not at the clinic, Dr. Maus donates her time to the local non-profit PAWSitively CATS shelter, Cakes for Causes, and StandUp for Kids. She also enjoys attending local fairs and events.

Dr. Anneliese Michl

Dr. Anneliese Michl grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. In 2010, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Loyola University of Chicago. In 2015, she obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois. Throughout her undergraduate and graduate studies, Dr. Michl worked at several local animal hospitals as a veterinary technician. Prior to moving to Tucson, she was an associate veterinarian at a general practice in the suburbs of Chicago. Dr. Michl is passionate about all aspects of veterinary medicine, but her special interests include surgery, dentistry, emergency, geriatric care, and pain management. In her spare time, she enjoys staying active outdoors with her two rescue dogs.

Dr. Michl is very excited to join the caring team at Catalina Pet Hospital and looks forward to providing exceptional care to your pets with compassion and empathy.
